JASCO
Sales Inc. have been designing and manufacturing concrete support
systems for over 30 years. Our products are made from HI-strength,
LITE-weight aluminum, hence the product brand name, “HI-LITE SYSTEMS”.
Our original company began
manufacturing and erecting scaffolding in 1952 in Vancouver, British
Columbia, Canada under the name "Jackson Scaffolding Limited".
Then we shortened our name to Jasco Industries Inc."
Our founder and
still president, George W. Jackson, began the company by developing
a single leg scaffold which took the Vancouver market "by storm"
where stucco was, and still is, the main exterior finish. The single leg
scaffold is still used extensively throughout British Columbia today.
In the
1970's, Mr. Jackson, a designer by heart, began the development and
modification of steel frame scaffolding and shoring, ultimately designing
and manufacturing the world's first aluminum frame shoring system. Our 12K
aluminum system is now the most advanced system in North America and is
rapidly gaining popularity around the world.
In 1982
Mr. Jackson sold the rental company in British Columbia and came to Ontario
with Jasco Industries to develop and manufacture aluminum concrete
support systems, wall forms and aluminum scaffolding in order to better
serve the domestic and international market places.
In 1985
Mr. Jackson changed the company name to "HI-LITE SYSTEMS ",
as it was felt that HI-LITE was a more suitable name to represent the
products being developed -HI-strength and LITE-weight.

HI-LITE
SYSTEMS had a major expansion in 1992 with the launching of several
new product lines internationally. We now manufacture three size capacities
of aluminum heavy load frame shoring, one with a Safe Working Load (SWL) of
24,000 lbs., one with a SWL of 50,000 lbs., and one in between.
We also manufacture
an aluminum telescopic fly forming system, capable of flying from one floor
to the next without using large cumbersome lowering jacks, common in the
marketplace.

We have designed and
now manufactured three separate styles of wall forms, which range from all
aluminum to a combination of aluminum and plywood, either handset or gang
formed with specially designed aluminum beams and strongbacks.
Currently at JASCO, we have recently developed exciting new products such
as an Aluminum Bridge Overhang bracket, an Aluminum Column Hung System and a
unique Tie-Rod system.
The use
of aluminum components allows strength where required, realizing savings in
weight, labour, crane time and employee fatigue, with flexibility of multiple
uses and longer life.
